Senior Building Surveyor | London

We’re seeking a chartered Building Surveyor with proven experience in the built environment and a strong track record of working closely with clients and delivering high‑quality project outcomes.

• Carry out building surveys, condition reports, and defect analysis.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
• Provide advice on building regulations, planning issues, and property legislation.
• Manage refurbishment and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and contractor performance.
• Conduct dilapidation assessments and negotiate on behalf of clients.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Handle Part Wall issues, including notices and awards.

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Full professional membership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a senior surveying role within the built environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of building construction, regulations, and recent BSA regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good knowledge of common construction contracts such as JCT and/or NEC.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with a variety of software packages, including MS Office.
• Familiarity with industry leading systems and procedures.
