• Carry out restricted duties in line with your level of Registered Building Inspector (RBI) registration and professional competence.
• Assess building regulation applications and undertake Class 2F plan checking activities.
• Carry out site inspections across a range of domestic and non‑domestic developments up to 18 metres in height.
• Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act, Building Act, Building Regulations, London Building Acts and associated legislation.
• Manage a portfolio of building control projects from application through to completion.
• Undertake technical assessments and make regulatory decisions relating to building compliance.
• Investigate breaches of legislation and support enforcement action where required.
• Assess dangerous structures and coordinate appropriate emergency actions. Provide technical guidance to customers, contractors and other stakeholders. Support and supervise Registered Building Inspectors at lower registration classes where appropriate.

• Registered Building Inspector with Class 2F registration.
• Experience undertaking plan checking and site inspections across the full Class 2F scope of work.
• Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Building Regulations and associated legislation.
• Experience managing building control projects from application through to completion.
• Experience undertaking enforcement activities and regulatory decision‑making. Experience assessing dangerous structures is desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction details.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
