Rate: £250–£300/day DOE
Hours:
7:30am – 5:30pm
Red Sky Personnel are working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure works at Heathrow Airport. Due to ongoing project requirements, they are looking to appoint an experienced Supervisor to support the delivery of utilities, groundworks and highways works on a long-term infrastructure scheme.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a major civil engineering project within a live operational environment.
The Role
The successful Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements. A key aspect of the role will involve managing Permits to Excavate, making the required utilities qualification essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supervising daily site activities across groundworks and utility works
Opening and managing Permits to Excavate
Coordinating site teams and subcontractors
Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
Monitoring quality and compliance with project specifications
Overseeing drainage, ducting, highways and associated infrastructure works
Promoting high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
Liaising with site management and client representatives
Requirements
QCF Level 3 in Utilities Mapping (essential)
Gold CSCS Supervisor Card (essential)
Previous experience supervising civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Good understanding of groundworks, drainage, utilities and highways works
Experience working under Permit to Excavate procedures
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work within a live operational environment
