Overview

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor
, you will be an integral part of our project team, assisting with the financial management of a significant industrial and steel frame construction project. Your role will provide you with excellent opportunities for career progression, working closely with experienced quantity surveyors and project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Support the procurement and management of subcontractor agreements, including preparation of tender documentation.
  • Help with the valuation of work completed and preparation of interim and final payment applications.
  • Contribute to cost value reconciliations and reporting on project financial performance.
  • Assist in the assessment and management of variations and claims.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records for project financials.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate cost control and reporting.
  • Participate in regular site visits to monitor progress and verify financial data.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, ideally with exposure to industrial and steel frame projects.

Strong understanding of cost management, procurement processes, and contract administration.

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the role with a commitment to career progression.
