Quantity Surveyor

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join Queen Mary University of London, working within the Estates and Projects team to support the delivery of capital projects, refurbishments and maintenance works. The role involves providing commercial oversight, cost management and project leadership, managing technical staff and acting as a key liaison between contractors, consultants and stakeholders.

• Eligible for MRICS status and possess a RICS‑accredited degree.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying within a large organisation, consultancy or contractor environment.
• Experience delivering capital projects and managing project budgets.
• Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to lead and manage technical staff.
• Demonstrated motivation and a record of successfully managing and delivering effective services as a Quantity Surveyor.
