Leggwork is working with a leading name in Land and Utility surveying, currently engaged on some of the UK’s largest and most high-profile infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of work across civil engineering, highways and utilities frameworks, they are now looking to bring in a Senior Utility Surveyor to support delivery across major schemes throughout the South East.

This is an opportunity to step into a senior role within a forward-thinking survey business, where your technical input will help shape nationally significant infrastructure.

• Lead PAS
  128 utility surveys across major UK infrastructure projects
• Oversee and conduct utility and PAS
  128 surveys to a high technical standard
• Mentor junior surveyors and support team development on site
• Use a range of specialist equipment including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Cat and Genny
• Review and compile survey data for reporting and client submission
• Liaise with clients, engineers and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Maintain strong health and safety standards on site

• Formal surveying qualification such as QCF, Pro Qual Level 5 or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Utility surveying with strong knowledge of PAS

• Proficiency with GPR and electromagnetic location tools
• Ability to lead or supervise a team on site
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and working practices within civil infrastructure
• Full UK driving licence (company van provided)

• Background in civil engineering, highways, construction or utilities sectors
• CSCS or equivalent site card

• Salary between £42,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
• Company van, fuel card and all necessary equipment provided
