The Civil Foreman/Tunnel Foreman at Joseph Gallagher will be responsible for overseeing and managing all civil and tunnelling construction activities. This role requires a hands‑on approach to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage a team of workers, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure that all projects are executed as per the plan.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and conduct regular safety checks and drills.
Ensure that all construction activities meet the required quality standards.
Ensure that all resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, are utilized efficiently.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Regularly report on project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
Monitor project expenses and ensure that they stay within the allocated budget.
Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process and find effective solutions.
