Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Are you interested in quantity surveying and construction cost management? This could be your opportunity to excel, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC's continued success within the Advisory division.

In this role, you will need confidence to work independently, along with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in construction and quantity surveying, with knowledge of Methods of Measurement and standard Contract Forms, is essential.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Preparing budget estimates, cost plans and tender documents
• Post-contract valuation, cost report and final account negotiations
• Measure and scale off from drawings and use CostX software

• Willingness to work on secondment and proactive in personal development
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills with competence in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Enthusiastic, keen to learn new skills, gain hands on experience and achieve formal qualifications
