Position: NRSWA/Streetworks Inspector (2 or 3 days)
Location: North West London

Our client, a reputable organisation within the highways sector, is seeking a NRSWA / Streetworks Inspector to join their team on a contract basis. This role is offered on a part-time basis of 2 to 3 days per week and involves ensuring street works and highway projects comply with safety standards and regulations, contributing to the smooth and safe delivery of infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting inspections of street works to ensure compliance with NRSWA regulations and safety standards.
Carrying out highway safety inspections on ongoing projects.
Assessing work sites for safety, regulatory adherence, and quality of works.
Documenting findings meticulously and preparing detailed reports for internal review and external stakeholders.
Participating in meetings to discuss street works planning, challenges, and resolutions.
Collaborating with contractors and local authority teams to address issues and optimise project delivery.
Monitoring progress and reporting on the status of street works projects.
Providing guidance to ensure best practices and safety standards are followed throughout.

Job Requirements

Significant experience in conducting street works inspections and site assessments.
Strong knowledge of NRSWA regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspections.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently.
