Building Surveyor – London Office

We currently have a vacancy open for a Building Surveyor who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK.
This role will be based at our London office
, subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.

As a Building Surveyor
, you will be responsible for assisting the delivery of building surveying services for a range of projects. You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.

Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include:

Assisting with building condition surveys and producing clear, insightful reports for clients.
Supporting the preparation of tender documentation – including drawings, specifications, and schedules of work.
Assisting with tender submissions, contractor analysis, and the drafting of JCT construction contracts.
Taking part in pre-contract briefings and ensuring smooth project handovers with the team.
Carrying out regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and health & safety compliance.
Attending client and project meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical confidence.
Travelling to sites and client locations as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

A relevant degree or strong working experience.
Experience working with AutoCAD.
Working towards or hoping to achieve RICS Chartership.
License to use drones on construction sites (Desirable).
CSCS Card (Desirable).
Full clean driving licence with access to own vehicle.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (finishing at 4:30pm on a Friday!)

Holiday: 25 days (pro-rata) plus bank holidays.
