Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London. The Job Title will support the planning and delivery of surfacing projects, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to agreed specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating with site teams and supervisors, monitoring progress against project plans, assisting with documentation and reporting, and liaising with clients and stakeholders as required.

The role also involves promoting safe working practices, maintaining clear communication across teams, and contributing to continuous improvement in processes and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, highways, civil engineering, or surfacing-related environments, with a strong understanding of site operations and safety practices.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, including clear verbal and written communication and effective collaboration with diverse site and office teams.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the capability to identify issues on site and support practical, timely solutions.
  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) for reporting and project documentation.
  • Relevant industry certifications or training (e.g., CSCS card, health and safety training) are beneficial.
  • Previous experience working with local authorities, contractors, or infrastructure clients is an advantage.
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to different sites within Greater London and surrounding areas, as required.
