We successfully complete over 46,000 repairs, 1,000 voids and fit 600 kitchens and bathrooms annually to 23,500 homes. As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working in our social housing, providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community.
This role will see you working as an Assistant quantity surveyor, part of a local team assisting the Commercial & General Manager with commercial control & reporting on high standard Commercial activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class commercial acumen, customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards.
Provide support and assistance towards the financial management of the joint venture maintenance contract, ensuring that financial targets are achieved.
Review, Validate and approve subcontractor quotations & variations in line with pricing agreements (NHF V7.Agree subcontractor valuations and payments.
Optimal Commercial Usage of Asset Management system by adhering to MEARS commercial protocol and processes.
Pervious social housing experience working across Voids & Repairs Business streams
Experience Reviewing, Validating and approving subcontractor quotations & variations in line with pricing agreements (NHF V7.Experience in financial reporting and data analysis.
Strong numeracy and financial management skills.
IT skills including advanced Excel and Word are essential.
