An established and growing construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support its expanding portfolio of projects across London.
This is a key position within the operational team, responsible for promoting a strong health and safety culture and ensuring consistently high standards are maintained across multiple live construction sites. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work closely with project and site teams, providing practical guidance while ensuring compliance with current UK health and safety legislation and ISO 45001 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a positive, proactive health and safety culture across all construction projects.
- Provide clear and practical health and safety advice to site and operational teams.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Support the ongoing implementation and development of the companys ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
- Review Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, lifting plans and temporary works documentation.
- Monitor high-risk construction activities and ensure suitable safety controls are implemented and maintained.
