As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a dynamic Senior Contracts Manager to join their leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving growth.
Role Overview
The Senior Contracts Manager will oversee multiple high-value projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a strategic role with clear progression opportunities into senior leadership, offering the chance to shape the company’s future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage contracts across retail, residential, and leisure projects.
Oversee project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and quality standards.
Drive efficiency and profitability across projects.
Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
Report directly to the board on project performance and strategic opportunities.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry.
Strong track record of delivering projects valued between £2m and £12m.
Excellent knowyou ledge of contract law, procurement, and contract management.
Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
Ambitious, with a desire to progress into senior leadership.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in high-end retail, residential, or leisure projects is highly desirable.
