Planner / Senior Planner
Location: London / Hybrid

Working Pattern: Flexible working across office, project sites and home
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planner or Senior Planner to join a growing London-based consultancy, supporting major construction and infrastructure projects.
Working with a range of main contractors and subcontractors, you will provide planning expertise across medium to large-scale projects, with a particular focus on NEC contracts and change management
.
This is a great opportunity for a personable and proactive Planner who enjoys getting involved in complex projects and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider project team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, manage and maintain detailed project programmes
- Provide planning support across major construction and infrastructure projects
- Work closely with main contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Monitor project progress against agreed programmes
- Identify programme risks, delays and potential impacts
- Support NEC contract planning and programme requirements
- Assist with change management and programme impact assessments
- Produce accurate planning reports and project updates
- Manage multiple project requirements and competing deadlines
- Senior Planners will take greater responsibility for change management and complex programme issues
- Minimum 2+ years' post-graduate planning experience
- Experience with in construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Experience working with NEC contracts
- Strong understanding of construction programmes and project delivery
- Minimum 5+ years' post-graduate planning experience
- Strong construction or infrastructure planning experience
- Demonstrable change management experience
- Confident managing complex programmes and working with multiple stakeholders
Degree in Construction, Project Management or a related discipline
Civil Engineering qualification would be advantageous
Experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
Strong knowledge of NEC construction planning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good IT literacy
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Confident working independently as well as part of a wider project team
