Quantity Surveyor About the Role As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the financial, commercial and contractual aspects of projects from post-tender handover through to final account. You will work closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, subcontractors and the wider commercial team to ensure effective cost control, contractual compliance and value for money. Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead subcontract procurement from tender preparation and analysis through to contract execution.

Work with project teams and design consultants to ensure tender information is complete, accurate and value-engineered where possible. Manage project costs against budgets, including cashflows and cost value reconciliations. Prepare, negotiate and agree interim valuations, variations and final accounts. Undertake site measurements from drawings and site visits. Maintain procurement trackers, change order registers and cost reporting systems. Attend project meetings and provide relevant commercial information.

Mentor and support Assistant or Graduate Quantity Surveyors where required. Skills & Experience Required Degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally RICS-accredited, or working towards MRICS. Minimum 3 years experience with a main contractor, ideally within Design & Build projects. Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts, preferably JCT D&B. Understanding of building regulations and commercial risk management. Familiarity with BCIS and elemental cost benchmarking.

Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation and time-management skills. Ability to read technical drawings and understand construction methods. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Valid CSCS card preferred. Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Whats on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
