Your new company

Our client is a leading international Tier One Main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects across the residential, healthcare, and commercial sectors. Following a series of significant project awards, the business has secured a substantial pipeline of work across London and the South East, creating opportunities for ambitious commercial professionals to join its growing team. The company is currently delivering and tendering projects ranging from 50m to 300m+, including major residential developments, landmark healthcare facilities, large-scale commercial schemes and complex mixed-use regeneration projects.

Your new role

Due to continued growth and a strong order book in the London area, our client is seeking an experienced QS or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. You will take ownership of the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with project teams to maximise commercial performance and manage contractual risk.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing subcontract procurement and commercial agreements

Preparing valuations, forecasts, CVRs and final accounts

Managing variations and change control processes

Supporting value engineering and design development initiatives

Maintaining commercial reporting and risk management processes

Mentoring and supporting junior commercial staff

Working alongside pre-construction teams during tender stages

You'll have the opportunity to work on some of London's most notable projects across the residential, healthcare and commercial sectors.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record delivering construction projects within the residential, healthcare, commercial or major project sectors.

You will also possess:

Strong commercial and contractual management experience

Excellent CVR, forecasting and final account skills

Experience managing subcontractor packages

The ability to lead, mentor and develop junior team members

Experience working on projects valued from 50m to 300m+ would be highly advantageous.

What you'll get in return

In return, you'll join an established tier one main contractor with an excellent reputation and long-term pipeline of work across London. A salary between 62K - 90K + package & benefits.
