Role & Responsibilities Support delivery of cost consultancy services from acquisition stage through to final account agreement
Liaise with clients, cost consultants, and project managers to ensure coordinated project delivery
Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets to support development viability and decision making
Manage procurement processes and assist with tender evaluation and contractor selection
Undertake cost control, reporting, and financial monitoring across multiple live projects
Assist with contract preparation, negotiation, and administration throughout project lifecycle
Engage with supply chain partners to support effective delivery and cost management strategies
Process contractor payments and manage budget reconciliations in line with project progress
Skills & Experience Required Minimum three years experience within UK construction as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Consultant Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement, and post contract cost management processes
Experience working within consultancy or main contractor environments is highly desirable
Exposure to residential or mixed-use development projects within urban environments
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related construction disciplineMRICS or MCIOB qualification or working towards professional accreditation is preferred
Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and support client relationships effectively
Motivated approach with a genuine interest in construction and project delivery
Salary & Benefits Salary between 50,000 and 70,000 depending on experience and capability level
