This aspiring consultancy offers an interesting and varied role for an experienced Building Surveyor wanting to become involved in working for a proven and successful multi-disciplinary professional design consultancy.

The role is working within one of the consultancy’s Building Surveying Teams on public sector housing projects from inception to completion. This role will suit a candidate with drive and ambition to be part of a successful division of this extremely ambitious consultancy.

Candidates must have good traditional building surveying skills and experience, strong communication skills with the ability to interface with clients / contractors and other professionals working within an existing team. This is an excellent role for a candidate wishing to progress within a successful business coupled with a truly collaborative environment.

JOB TITLE:

Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) or (CIOB)
KEY

QUALIFICATIONS:

Chartered Building Surveyor or Member of Institute of Building.

Proven track record of performing in a building surveying role, particularly related Public-Sector Housing (This is absolutely a key component to being considered for this role)
Full technical ability & up to date contract knowledge

Self motivated, confident, with good presentation and communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment and be able to lead on specific projects as appropriate

Strong experience in Public Sector Housing DETAILED JOB TYPES:
Structural Surveys and Acquisition Inspections of buildings.

Building Defects Analysis.

Writing specification, contract administration and running public sector housing projects

Preparing and submitting applications for statutory consent and liaising with relevant authorities.
