Job Summary Project MEP Cost Consultant Job London opportunity working across residential and mixed-use developments throughout the UK. This full-time hybrid role sits within the Other Jobs sector and supports projects valued between 20m and 150m. You will support MEPH cost management activities across both pre-contract and post-contract project stages. About the Company This opportunity is within a London team delivering MEPH cost management services across residential and mixed-use developments throughout the UK. Projects range from 20m to 150m and involve working with clients and wider project teams. The Project MEP Cost Consultant will report directly to a Senior Cost Consultant or Associate Director.
The role supports the delivery of high-profile schemes through cost planning, estimating, procurement and post-contract services. You will also contribute to commercial reporting and help monitor project financial performance throughout delivery. Collaboration with clients, consultants and colleagues forms an important part of the position. The team also supports continued development of MEPH technical knowledge and data-led and digital cost management approaches.
Role & Responsibilities Support day-to-day MEPH cost management activities across assigned residential and mixed-use development projects
Assist with cost planning and estimating activities throughout relevant stages of assigned project delivery
Support procurement activities and post-contract services across residential and mixed-use development schemes
Work collaboratively with clients, consultants and wider project teams to support successful project delivery
Contribute to commercial reporting and help monitor project financial performance throughout assigned project stages
Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues throughout the delivery of assigned projects
Support continued development of MEPH technical knowledge and data-led and digital cost management approaches
Skills & Experience RequiredMRICS is preferred, or candidates should hold another relevant professional qualification for the role Strong technical capability across core MEPH cost management activities and established project delivery processes
Practical experience covering cost estimating, cost planning, procurement and post-contract cost management responsibilities
Good knowledge of MEPH systems and technologies across different stages of the project lifecycle
Commercial awareness with strong understanding of residential cost drivers and wider development objectives
Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills when working across multiple project teams
Ability to manage workloads across multiple projects while consistently delivering work to required deadlines
Adaptable and proactive approach with high attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
Salary & Benefits Salary up to 70,000 DOEHybrid working with flexibility between home and office
