Trainor Stone & Tile is a Belfast-founded specialist stone and tiling contractor with an established presence in the London commercial sector. The company has delivered projects across some of the UK’s most prestigious developments, including Harrods, Selfridges, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and King’s Cross.

Due to continued growth, Trainor Stone & Tile is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its London team.

The Role

The Project Manager will take responsibility for managing projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and resources
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Manage client communication and project reporting
• Monitor project progress, costs and programme
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality standards and regulations
• Identify and resolve project risks and issues
• Manage variations and change control
• Coordinate with commercial, site and operational teams
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years’ project management experience within construction or fit-out
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Experience working with Tier 1 contractors would be advantageous
• SMSTS and CSCS certification
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
