We're seeking an Infrastructure Programme Manager to join our Fleet Strategy & Major Programmes team, based at our head office in London Bridge (hybrid working).This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of significant depot and infrastructure projects, working across the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through to construction, commissioning and operational handover.
You'll work with contractors, engineers, operational colleagues and industry partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with long-term operational performance in mind.

What you’ll doIn this role you will lead the successful delivery of major rail infrastructure programmes that support Southeastern's long-term ambitions.
You'll provide leadership across complex projects, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes that align with wider business objectives. You'll manage programme scope, schedules, risks, costs and dependencies, ensuring projects remain on track and stakeholders remain informed.
You'll act as Southeastern's intelligent client, challenging and supporting contractors, consultants and delivery partners to achieve the highest standards of safety, quality and performance. You'll also represent programmes at a senior level, providing governance, assurance and clear reporting throughout delivery.

You deliver complex infrastructure programmes – with a proven track record of delivering major rail construction projects from design through to operational handover
You turn plans into reality – maintaining momentum and delivering against challenging milestones

You bring people together – building strong relationships across contractors, suppliers and operational stakeholders
You thrive in a live operational environment – understanding the challenges of delivering major works around railway operations
You hold delivery partners to account – ensuring commitments are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard
You manage complexity with confidence – coordinating multiple work streams, interfaces and dependencies successfully
You bring relevant professional credentials – Chartered status (or working towards) would be advantageous, alongside significant rail infrastructure delivery experience
