Location: Greater London

As a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor in the retail industry, you'll play a key role in managing costs and budgets for construction projects, ensuring they stay on track and within budget. This position focuses on private consultancy work, including office fit-outs, refurbishments, and both pre- and post-contract cost planning.

Description
  • Manage pre- and post-contract cost planning processes for construction projects.
  • Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and cost reports.
  • Monitor budgets and control project costs to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for office fit-outs and refurbishment projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective cost management and value engineering.
  • Conduct risk assessments and advise on potential cost implications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Profile
  • Experience in a private consultancy background.
  • Strong pre- and post-contract cost planning skills.
  • Knowledge of office fit-out and refurbishment projects within the retail sector.
  • Ideally, MRICS qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • MRICS - desirable but not essential
