The steelwork on a major London project is only part of the story. Behind every package is a commercial team making sure the numbers work, changes are captured and the project remains profitable from award through to completion.

- Manage valuations, applications for payment, variations, change control and final accounts.
- Review contracts, drawings and specifications to identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to keep costs, margins and delivery aligned.
- Challenge costs and variations where the commercial position needs protecting.
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within structural steelwork.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection.
- Experience managing live construction projects commercially.
- Experience with valuations, variations, applications, cost control and final accounts.

- Direct involvement in commercially important projects.
- Opportunity to work closely with project and senior management.
- A role where your structural steel experience is genuinely valued.
- Exposure to varied projects rather than repetitive commercial work.
Long-term opportunity within an established business.
