An established and highly respected design and build contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team.

The company provides a complete in‑house service from design through to construction, working across a diverse range of sectors.
This role will suit a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a Managing Surveyor position, or an experienced Managing Surveyor seeking a new challenge within a growing business.
The RoleYou will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects.
- Prepare cost plans, budgets and valuations.
- Manage subcontract procurement and negotiate packages.
- Administer subcontract accounts, variations and final accounts.
- Produce accurate cost reporting and forecasts.
- Manage client valuations and applications for payment.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
- Work closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability.
- Provide commercial guidance and mentoring to junior surveyors where required.
- Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
- Background within commercial construction, refurbishment, fit-out or design & build projects.
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and commercial software.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Salary of £85,000 - £100,000, depending on experience.
