Position: Quantity Surveying Graduate September 2027 Start)

Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification. You'll join us on a 2 - 3 year trainee programme and sit in our Cost Management team. You will be working towards a Chartered Quantity Surveyor by completing the Quantity Surveying route for the Assessment of Professional Competency (APC). Quantity Surveyors provide expert advice on construction costs, which is why they are also known as Cost Consultants or Cost Managers.

Our team ensures that proposed projects are affordable and offer good value for money, so essentially, they hold the purse strings of the project. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • You'll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions
  • You'll help research and calculate design costs to create budget estimates
  • You'll monitor project spend and help report on costs to ensure they are within budgets
  • You'll visit sites to carry out site visits to check on project progress
  • You'll help prepare reports and contract documents for clients
  • You'll embrace technology, including our purpose-built applications that help us deliver real time cost management
  • You'll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and legislation that may impact our work
  • You'll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service
  • You'll take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development to support your growth

  • Degree
    - Minimum 2:2 (predicted or achieved) in any discipline. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying is desirable but not essential
