Our client is a leading technology solutions provider delivering workplace and immersive experiences, digital distribution and media production solutions to clients across a range of sectors.

Their teams support projects from consulting and system design through to installation, service and ongoing management. Their expertise spans collaboration technology, video conferencing, video walls, AV system integration and managed services.

Our client is seeking a Senior GC Project Manager to lead major AV integration projects within main contractor environments. You will take ownership of complex projects valued at £1m or more, working closely with construction teams, clients and internal technical specialists to deliver them safely, on time and within budget.

This role requires strong AV technical knowledge, confidence reviewing CAD drawings and schematics, and a structured approach to project controls. You will manage contracts, change, project financials and stakeholder relationships, while providing guidance to other project managers working across major construction projects.

• Lead large AV integration projects within main contractor environments, taking ownership from planning through to completion and handover.

• Manage project programmes, budgets, forecasts, costs, billing and overall financial performance.

• Review contractual requirements, technical drawings, schematics and other project deliverables to identify risks and coordinate effective delivery.

• Act as the main client contact, maintaining clear communication with contractors, end users, internal teams and other stakeholders.

• Manage project changes, configuration, risks and documentation in line with established project management processes.

• Coordinate project teams and subcontractors, delegate responsibilities and lead internal and client meetings.

• Provide guidance and escalation support to other project managers within the major projects team, without direct line management responsibility.

• Support the development of the business’s capability to deliver increasingly complex AV projects in the construction market.

• Proven experience delivering large AV integration projects, ideally valued at £1m or more, within commercial construction or main contractor environments.

• Strong understanding of AV systems, supported by the ability to review CAD drawings, schematics and technical deliverables.

• Experience managing project financials, including forecasting, cost control, billing and commercial performance.

• Working knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT, and experience managing project change and contractual obligations.

• Strong health and safety awareness, stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively on active construction sites.

• A structured approach to project delivery, with experience using established project management processes and reporting tools.

• Ability to travel to project sites in and around London, with occasional travel further afield.

• Experience providing guidance or escalation support to other project managers through a matrix management structure.

• Knowledge of low voltage electrical projects and associated construction interfaces.

• Experience with enterprise ERP systems and formal project risk management.
