About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Construction Project Manager to lead major construction projects in the East London area and throughout the Eastern Cape. This senior leadership role involves full responsibility for project planning, execution, budget control, and client satisfaction from initiation to completion. You will manage large multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and design through to closeout.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and controlled.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, identifying critical paths and potential risks.
- Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including site staff, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Expert knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, and project management software.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, ideally with experience in the East London construction market.
