Senior Mechanical Project Manager – Tier One Main Contractor Central London Permanent Up  to 110,000 + Car Allowance + Travel An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join a Tier One Main Contractor delivering a landmark large-scale residential development in Central London.

The Role The Senior Mechanical Project Manager will take full responsibility for the mechanical package from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. Working as part of a high-performing project team, they will oversee design coordination, procurement, subcontractor management, programme delivery, quality assurance, and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and coordinating all mechanical elements of the project

Managing subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality

Driving programme performance in line with project milestones

Overseeing technical submissions, RFIs, and design development in collaboration with consultants

Ensuring compliance with health & safety and building regulations

Supporting commercial teams with cost control, valuations, and change management

Managing commissioning activities and ensuring successful project handover

The Candidate The successful candidate will be a proven Mechanical Lead or Senior Mechanical Project Manager with experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments for a reputable main contractor or leading M&E contractor.

They will demonstrate:

A strong track record of managing high-value mechanical packages

Excellent technical knowledge of building services systems

Experience working on complex builds in Central London The ability to lead teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders

Commercial awareness and programme management expertiseA proactive, solutions-focused approach
