With over €4bn of secured construction and infrastructure projects across Europe and ambitious plans for continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business at the forefront of critical digital infrastructure.

The Opportunity

As Project Planner, you will play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of a major hyperscale Data Centre development for one of the world's leading technology companies.

Working closely with the Project Director and wider project team, you will develop, maintain and monitor project programmes, using 4D planning and construction sequencing experience to improve programme visualisation, coordination and delivery certainty.

This is an opportunity to combine your planning expertise with exposure to a technically complex, high-value project within one of the UK's fastest-growing construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and manage detailed construction programmes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilise 4D planning and construction sequencing tools to link programme activities with 3D models and visualise the construction sequence.
  • Work closely with project management, engineering, design, procurement and construction teams to ensure programme alignment.
  • Monitor progress against the baseline programme, identifying critical path activities, delays and potential risks.
  • Produce regular programme updates, progress reports and look-ahead schedules.
  • Support the development of construction methodologies, phasing strategies and logistics plans.
  • Identify programme risks and opportunities, developing mitigation and recovery strategies where required.
  • Coordinate subcontractor programmes and ensure key milestones, interfaces and dependencies are integrated into the overall schedule.
  • Contribute to planning meetings, progress reviews and programme reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Support the integration of design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Project Planner or Construction Planner on major construction projects.
  • Demonstrable 4D planning experience, including linking construction programmes with 3D models to support sequencing, coordination and visualisation.
  • Experience using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Previous experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Advanced Manufacturing or other complex construction environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, critical path analysis, programme logic and progress monitoring.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and integrating design, procurement and construction programmes.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying programme risks, resolving issues and supporting successful project delivery.
What's on Offer?
  • Competitive package – Salary in the region of £70,000–£100,000, depending on experience, alongside a benefits package.
  • Major hyperscale project – Work on a landmark Data Centre development for a leading global technology client.
  • Advanced planning and 4D technology – Apply your 4D planning expertise to a technically complex project where construction sequencing and coordination are critical.
  • Career progression – Join a growing international contractor with genuine opportunities to progress from Project Planner into Senior Planner, Planning Manager and beyond.
  • Long-term project pipeline – Benefit from significant secured work across the UK and Europe, offering stability and future opportunities.
