Position: Expression of Interest - Production Coordinator )

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Coordinator to join our production team, working from our Central London office. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our CG and VFX projects by maintaining schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring clear communication across departments.

Working closely with the Production Manager and wider production team, you’ll help facilitate workflows and ensure artists have what they need to deliver on time. It is essential that this person can work from our Central London office, has a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage both detail and momentum in a fast-paced studio environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Work closely with the Producer and/or Production Manager to schedule and monitor artist tasks on a day-to-day basis.
  • Support the delivery process by tracking key milestones and coordinating weekly asset and shot deliveries.
  • Generate weekly artist targets and monitor progress throughout the week to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Set up and maintain task statuses in Ftrack, ensuring project management data remains accurate and up to date.
  • Organise dailies, rounds, and other production meetings to keep the team aligned and focused.
  • Record and circulate clear creative notes from client reviews, dailies, rounds, and key sessions.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for artists, promoting strong communication and consistent team updates.
  • Ensure the team is briefed and clear on daily objectives and delivery priorities.
  • Assist with studio floor operations, including ingests, downloads, vendor communication, and artist onboarding.
  • Stay informed on project scope and flag changes or updates to the Producer promptly.
  • Help ensure timesheet data and team time tracking are kept current.
  • Mentor and support Production Assistants, helping with onboarding and training.
What You Bring
  • Ability to work from the Central London office
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Production Coordinator or Production Assistant in a CG or VFX environment.
  • Strong organisational and scheduling abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to collaborate across teams and departments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems under pressure.
  • A working understanding of cinematic and visual effects terminology and processes.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • A proactive and friendly team player with a positive approach to collaboration.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Would Be Beneficial
  • A relevant degree in animation, VFX, film, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Ftrack, Shot Grid, or similar.
