BBC News & Current Affairs creates award-winning documentaries, investigations, podcasts and live broadcasts like Panorama and Africa Eye. As a Junior Production Apprentice, you’ll support planning, logistics and delivery, working with teams to produce content across TV, audio and digital platforms.
WorkMost of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work- Assist with travel logistics, shoots, audio programmes, studio setups, crew bookings, and call sheets
- Support budget management and cost monitoring
- Support staff management and scheduling
- Assist with data and/or media management and production reporting
- Learn best practices in production management, and BBC policies and compliance
