Key Responsibilities
  • Develop compelling social media reels focused on the stories, journeys, and work of Black fashion designers worldwide.
  • Capture and edit video content (interviews, BTS, designer showcases, studio visits, events).
  • Assist with scripting, storyboarding, and shaping narrative angles for each designer feature.
  • Create short‑form graphics, captions, and supporting assets for IG + Tik Tok.
Designer Outreach & Coordination
  • Help identify Black designers, fashion entrepreneurs, and emerging creatives across different regions.
  • Assist with outreach and communication to schedule interviews, content shoots, or virtual features.

Event, Show & Initiative Support
  • Support in‑person coverage at events, fashion shows, launches, and community initiatives related to the series.
  • Capture live content (BTS footage, interviews, highlights).
  • Assist with coordinating attendance, obtaining permissions, and securing content opportunities with designers.
Publishing & Social Management
  • Support daily posting, scheduling, and content planning for Instagram and Tik Tok.
  • Help with hashtag research, trend monitoring, and platform optimisation.
  • Engage with the community (responding to comments, resharing designer content, amplifying relevant conversations).
Admin & Project Support
  • Keep content calendars updated and organised.
  • Maintain asset libraries, research documents, and contact sheets.
  • Track performance metrics and contribute insights for continuous improvement.
