Queer Global is on a mission to create the largest and most comprehensive archive of Queer Global Majority (QGM) stories in the UK—and we need your help!

This groundbreaking project, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and made possible with thanks to National Lottery players, brings together partners including Bishopsgate Institute, Chiswick House & Gardens, The Common Press, The Naz Project, Gay Indian & South Asian Network (GIN) and the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre to amplify QGM voices and preserve their stories for generations to come.

Elevate Community Productions is launching a brand-new Oral History Project, and we are looking for dedicated volunteers to Chen our production team as Interviewers.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a professional media environment while helping us preserve vital local narratives.

• Full Training Provided:
  We will teach you the art of the “deep-dive” interview, active listening, and how to work within a professional studio setting.
• Behind-the-Scenes Access:
  Get a front‑row seat to how our narrative‑change media house operates.
• Build Your Portfolio:
  Perfect for aspiring journalists, podcasters, or historians looking for real‑world credits.

• Shoot Window:
  Monday to Thursdays – 19th January – 26th February (flexible dates and times based on your availability).
