This is a flexible, hourly rate role with key duties including to:
Responsibilities- Set up and operate in-house and hired lighting equipment during concerts & events
- Return all areas to standard post show
- Maintain and conform to venue policies and procedures
- Work independently including during out of office hours
- Ensure that all technical setups and installs follow the correct Health & Safety Codes of Practice and correct PPE is used
- Routinely report equipment faults or issues to the relevant technical manager
- As a lighting technician, work with and assist other technical departments (Sound, Filming, Stage Management)
We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills and adaptability for single day events. In a busy environment, you should have the ability to realise an artist’s vision as well as use your own initiative when required. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with musicians across genres as well as strong customer service skills for our hire clients.

Many of our casual staff work across disciplines (Stage Management, AV, Sound, Recording Filming) and have been cross-skilled at Kings Place.
