Reporting to the Social Media Lead, and working with the Senior Social Producer, you will be working collaboratively on our social media strategy.

You will shape how Absolute Radio shows up across social. You will create standout, platform‑first content, bring creative ideas to life and help grow our online communities. Your work will directly influence audience engagement, brand visibility and the personality our listeners experience every day.

As our next Social Media Producer, you will be planning, creating and publishing digital content for Absolute Radio, working with our presenters, artists, and big‑name guests to bring the brands to life for our audience of “reluctant adults”.

This is a hands‑on production role, we’re looking for someone who can come up with a concept and turn it around themselves. You should be confident and show initiative in bringing fresh thoughts to the table, and be able to build working relationships with both our presenters and the wider Absolute Radio team.

• Develop and produce engaging social media content including social videos, graphics, photos and written posts tailored to Absolute Radio’s audience.
• Monitor and analyse social media trends, audience behaviours, and platform updates to keep Absolute Radio’s social media presence current and effective.
• Engage with Absolute Radio’s audience across all social media platforms.
• Work from Absolute Radio’s social media content calendars.
• Assist the Social Lead and Senior Social Producer in day‑to‑day planning and wider projects.
• Ensure all content aligns with Absolute Radio brand guidelines.
• Work out of hours at Absolute Radio events when required.

• You
  * must* have an in‑depth understanding of Absolute Radio’s music output.
• Social Media experience at a professional level.
• Comfortable shooting and filming content on mobile.
• Confident in directing and briefing presenters, guests, and other team members.
• Confident in presenting ideas
• Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Cap Cut.
• Ability to design thumbnails and graphics.
• Strong copywriting skills.

Hybrid role – 2–3 days in London office; out‑of‑hours needed for events.
