Summit Content Lead; Global youth leadership and impact

This is a senior content leadership role responsible for shaping the stories, ideas and voices that define one of the world’s most international and high-profile leadership gatherings.

The Summit Content Lead sets the intellectual and narrative direction for the One Young World Summit, a global platform bringing together young leaders from 190+ countries alongside Heads of State, Nobel Laureates, CEOs, activists and cultural figures.

This is not just an event production role. It is about curating powerful ideas, designing meaningful conversations, and ensuring every session delivers real substance and impact.

You will shape the main stage and core Summit programme by designing a content journey that connects global issues, personal leadership stories and urgent social and environmental challenges into a coherent, high‑impact experience.

You will work at the intersection of:

• Global issues and thought leadership

• Define the overarching themes (through global stakeholder consultation), storylines and intellectual framework of the Summit main stage content.
• Ensure the programme has narrative coherence across keynotes, panels, firesides and ceremonial events
• Translate complex global issues into compelling, accessible sessions
• Raise the quality, relevance and originality of Summit content year‑on‑year

• Work closely with senior speakers to shape their contributions into powerful, audience‑focused moments
• Help speakers clarify their key messages, stories and impact
• Ensure a mix of big ideas, lived experience and practical insight across the programme
• Lead the design of the main stage programme and core content formats
• Develop session concepts, formats and flows that maintain audience engagement
• Balance inspiration, substance and diversity of perspectives

• Integrate partner and sponsor voices in ways that feel meaningful and editorially credible
• Build strong working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders

• Oversee alignment between live Summit content and digital learning products
• Contribute to the development of video and on‑demand content beyond the live event
• Lead and develop content team members
• Set priorities, standards and workflows
• Build capability in narrative thinking and content quality

• Work with production teams to ensure content translates effectively into live delivery
• Use feedback and insight to refine programme quality and impact year‑on‑year
