Summary
We’re looking for a Product Designer with strong visual and motion design skills to help elevate how a digital product feels, moves, and communicates.
This role is about using motion and visual storytelling to improve real product experiences like onboarding, setup flows, product introductions, confirmations, and subtle interaction moments, (not creating standalone animations or marketing videos).
You’ll work on a live financial product, owning the creative execution of visual and motion elements from concept through to production-ready assets.
What you’ll do and work on:
- Visual and motion design for a real, shipped digital product
- Things like onboarding and setup flows, micro-interactions, loading states, etc.
- Occasional product visuals for web and acquisition pages
The focus is on shipping quality assets, not creating guidelines or long-term frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Design visual concepts for product screens where content and imagery are not yet defined
- Create motion for key product moments (onboarding, setup, confirmations, micro-interactions)
- Ensure motion is purposeful, restrained, and supports usability
- Produce production-ready assets in collaboration with engineering
- Choose appropriate formats and approaches (e.g. Lottie, Rive, video)
- Work closely with product designers to ensure motion integrates naturally into flows
- Maintain a high bar for visual quality and clarity
What we’re looking for:
- Background as a Product Designer, Visual Designer, or Interaction Designer
- Proven experience using motion within digital products
- Experience shipping motion or animated assets in production
- Comfort working with developers and understanding technical constraints
- Ability to own creative decisions and propose ideas, not just execute briefs
You don’t need to code, but you do need to understand how your work lives inside a product.
