We’re looking for a freelance multi-product garment technologist to work on the development of premium children swear apparel for a luxury lifestyle brand specializing in timeless, elegant designs with a focus on high-quality fabrics and intricate detailing. The company is renowned for its classic yet contemporary aesthetic, offering a range of clothing and accessories that combine heritage craftsmanship with modern sensibilities. This role is based in their offices in West London.

Suitable candidates must be immediately available.

The role requires ensuring and maintaining the highest possible quality standards across all apparel categories throughout the garment technology process, from initial concept through to final production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee fit sessions across relevant product areas and document accurate notes regarding garment construction.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to resolve technical issues, ensuring product integrity from proto samples through to final production.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks, ensuring all products meet brand standards in terms of fit, fabric performance, and workmanship.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with factories and internal teams to ensure smooth product development and production processes.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working on children swear products, including woven and knitwear categories.
  • Proven experience in a garment technical role, working closely with outsourced factories.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
