Creative Services Manager – up to £40k – London / Hybrid
We’re looking for a hands-on Creative Services Manager to act as the key link between creative and account teams, ensuring work flows smoothly through the studio. Focusing on FMCG/Retail output, this role is about managing workflow, resources and delivery across fast-paced, deadline-driven projects, keeping everything on time, on budget and to the highest creative standard. Ideal for someone who thrives in complex, multi-project environments and enjoys making creative teams operate at their best.
Key Responsibilities- Resource planning & trafficking – Plan, control and distribute all briefs and workflows for designated clients, working closely with Creative Directors and Studio Leads to allocate the right creative resource and optimise utilisation across the team.
- Quality control – Maintain quality and consistency across structural, design and artwork output, supporting Creative Leads with clear sign-off on all high-priority work, ensuring adherence to client style guides, legal requirements and creative standards.
- Cost control & utilisation – Keep projects on time and within budget by monitoring timesheets and utilisation reports, supporting the Head of Creative Services and Finance in managing resource deployment and controlling approved freelance spend.
- Cross-discipline coordination – Support seamless collaboration between Creative, Digital, AV and Account Management teams, ensuring transparency, accountability and smooth handovers across all stages of delivery.
- Systems & process optimisation – Support and improve creative workflow processes by managing diarised briefs and WIPs with Account Teams and Designers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and with clear ownership throughout.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Creative Services Manager within an integrated agency or pre-press production environment
- Strong understanding of POP, POS, print and production techniques
- Knowledge of structural production processes is an advantage
- Proven project management experience across trafficking, WIPs and production workflows
- Expert understanding of the design process and creative delivery requirements
- Experience working on large UK, European or global brands across FMCG, Shopper and Entertainment
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and IP management
- Mac and PC literate
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
InDesign experience an advantage
