Role Overview
A hybrid logistics coordinator and videographer who manages the end-to-end process of "batch recording" community video content.
What are your main responsibilities?
- Logistics & Planning: Arrange batch recording sessions (5–7 videos per session) involving alumni, trainees, and volunteers.
- Technical Execution: Handle on-site videography, including lighting and audio, ensuring "crisp" quality suitable for senior corporate leaders.
- Community Mobilisation: Partner with the community team to organise "celebration events" that encourage attendance for recordings.
- Regional Tours: Manage recording schedules for sessions in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow. May involve occasional travel, with the remaining session management done remotely.
- Training: Share best practices with regional community members to empower them to continue recording high-quality content locally.
What technical skills do we expect you to have?
- Experience in venue organising, briefing participants, and capturing B-roll during live classes.
- Ability to manage a production pipeline of 60–70 videos over 6 months.

Code Your Future trains dedicated people in poverty to change their lives by getting good jobs in the software industry. We have helped over 300 people get jobs so far, including at companies like Google, Slack, Hashi Corp, Thoughtworks, and Capgemini. All of our education is free, and we cover expenses like childcare and transportation to support people in need.
We teach part-time courses using a flipped classroom style - assigning our trainees material to learn and exercises and projects to work on. We meet in-person once a week on Saturdays, and host mentoring sessions in the week, to help people with their learning. Our teaching and mentoring is primarily delivered by volunteers with a diverse set of backgrounds and skills, and our curriculum is all open source.
