Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Product Development Specialist and Production Manager with expertise in Gerber pattern making. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience in the industry and be fluent in Italian and/or Spanish
. This role is crucial for the development and production of our luxury product lines, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the product development process from concept to final production, ensuring alignment with Cashmirino’s brand standards and market needs.
  • Together with the creative director, you will manage the production cycle, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Utilise Gerber pattern-making software to create and modify garment patterns with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to develop new products, refine existing ones, and ensure feasibility in production.
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all products meet our high standards of craftsmanship and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners in Italian, English and/or Spanish to streamline production processes and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor and manage production costs to stay within budget while maintaining quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to continuously improve product development and production processes.
  • Be flexible, hardworking, hands‑on, and ready and used to travel, ensuring careful control over production.
Qualifications
  • At least six years of experience in product development and production management, preferably in the luxury fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in Gerber pattern‑making software.
  • Fluency in Italian and/or Spanish is required.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Flexible, hardworking, hands‑on, and accustomed to travelling and carefully controlling production.
