Role/Team overview
The role of the Digital Video Coordinator is to contribute to the publishing of market‑leading digital sports video and ensure its timely delivery for publication to the Sky Sports App. Reporting to the Producer – Digital Video Output, this role will ensure Sky Sports remains the destination of choice for sports fans, creates revenue opportunities, and continues to add value to the Sky Sports subscription.
You’ll be joining Sky Sports, where we deliver the most innovative and best sports content experience to our customers across all platforms.
What you’ll do- Curate and publish high‑quality pre‑produced sports video content for the Sky Sports app, supporting the planning and delivery of vertical clips into Sky Sports Digital vertical video workflows.
- Perform data entry, video tagging, and quality control on clips and highlights produced from a variety of different sources.
- Undertake basic desktop editing using bespoke editing and publishing software.
- Write eye‑catching titles and captions for videos, ensuring best practices for short‑form video creation, curation, and publishing.
- Prioritise and oversee the promotion of key Sky Sports events, maintaining expert knowledge of current sporting issues and stories.
- Work closely with the digital video output, production, editorial, and social teams, ensuring lines of communication are clear and workable across all departments.
- Experience curating, processing, and publishing digital video content.
- Basic desktop video editing skills.
- Editorial experience, particularly in writing compelling, eye‑catching titles and captions for video content.
- An expert knowledge of current sporting issues, stories and key events.
- A strong understanding of best practices for short‑form and vertical video creation.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple editorial, social, and content teams.

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
Your office baseOsterley – our Sky Group HQ. The campus offers restaurants, a gym, a cinema, free parking and other amenities. It is located within a short walk of Syon Lane train station and has free shuttle buses from Osterley, Gunnersbury and Ealing Broadway stations.
