POLITICO seeks a Senior Producer, Audio/Video to lead the relaunch and growth of a news show based in London. The role involves overseeing recording sessions, making creative decisions, ensuring quality and accuracy, and editing the final audio and video products for multi‑platform release (podcast, video, and social media). The producer will collaborate across teams, coach talent, and manage production to meet deadlines.

This full‑time position may require work outside normal business hours due to the nature of news production.

• Experienced producer with a track record of video and audio shows
• Skilled editor of audio and video capable of delivering tight, polished edits on a deadline
• Strong reader of news and politics with an interest in the UK and Europe
• Experienced in multi‑platform distribution and production efficiencies
• Team player who gives and takes constructive feedback across teams

• Oversee the creation of an audio/video show, including technical aspects, coaching talent, and guiding editorial direction
• Collaborate with host and editorial colleagues to identify high‑impact guests, topics, and conversation themes
• Produce clean, final cuts of the audio podcast and video for publication
• Partner with audience, editorial, and social media teams on distribution and publishing
• Monitor episode performance metrics and use data to optimize future episodes

• 5+ years of experience in podcast and video production, with a strong emphasis on news, politics, or policy
• Sharp editorial judgement and storytelling instincts grounded in journalistic standards
• Advanced audio and video editing skills, proficient in Premiere and Audition or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with leadership and cross‑functional partners
• Familiarity with audience analytics and platform metrics to guide content decisions
