We are looking for a talented and versatile Freelance Video Editor to bring our stories to life. In this role, you will edit a diverse range of video formats, from rapid breaking news to polished studio shows, ensuring our content engages millions of viewers daily.

• Edit video content spanning a diverse range of formats and platforms. These include:
  • Breaking News:
    Rapid cutting of short clips for immediate publication on The Sun’s website.
  • Shows:
    Thematic, TV-style programs filmed and produced in our studios.
  • Interviews:
    Editing content captured both face‑to‑face and via remote platforms such as Zoom.
  • Long‑form Edits:
    Production of extended video content optimised for platforms like You Tube.
  • Social Media:
    Creation of platform‑specific cuts for Facebook, X, Tik Tok, and other major social channels.

• Proficiency:
  Expert editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Technical Ability:
  Competence in Adobe Photoshop.

  The ability to operate a camera and capture footage.
• Knowledge: A strong understanding of current affairs, showbiz, TV, and sport.
• Temperament:
  The capacity to work effectively and remain composed under tight deadlines and pressure.
