Location: Greater London
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute copy for a variety of channels, including OOH, digital, social, in-app, motion and CRM across multiple projects.
- Collaborate closely with our design and wider project teams to concept and execute creative copy.
- Collaborate with strategists and wider project teams to understand target audiences, helping develop Tone of Voice-led copy from key messaging through to campaign execution.
- Ensure all copy outputs are aligned with our Deliveroo brand tone of voice, maintaining quality and consistency across all assets.
- Present strategy-aligned creative concepts to internal stakeholders.
- Work to deadlines and effectively manage your workload, collaborating with project managers and studio team peers to meet key project milestones.
- Assist senior copywriters and AI specialists with test and refine prompts, reusable workflows for custom GPTs to improve copy quality, consistency, efficiency and campaign performance.
- A copywriter with a real love for words, conceptual thinking and creative problem solving.
- 4+ years of experience in an in-house or agency creative department.
- A strong creative portfolio demonstrating an understanding of brand-building copy, storytelling and creative thinking through written communication.
- Varied experience showing you can adapt copy across a range of channels and audiences.
- Ability to flex and adapt across a variety of projects, both big and small.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with proven experience communicating with stakeholders and confidently navigating feedback.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate, learn and adapt within a fast-growing business.
- Driven to inject insight and creativity into even the most functional or conversion-focused copy spaces.
- Experience using AI-powered creative and copywriting tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or equivalent).
- An understanding of prompt writing for creative copy outputs.
