Equinox - Virtual Exhibition with Bob Cat Gallery

The next exhibition in the Bob Cat Gallery virtual space will be an open call celebrating the best of the new season - fresh, inspiring original works and handmade limited editions that bring to life the spirit of the equinox; the perfect balance of night and day.

The exhibition will feature regular Bob Cat Gallery artists as well as other international artists working in a diverse range of media and styles.

Open Call Details

Artists can apply with a selection of up to four pieces.
It is free to apply and there are no size limits for artworks.
The show runs through September 2026 on the Bob Cat Gallery website and includes a virtual curator’s tour on Monday 7 September at 6.30 pm.

Eligibility

Artists working in 2D or 3D media, including but not limited to painting, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, etching, lino cuts, textiles and limited edition photography.
Reproduction prints (e.g. giclée), digital artwork and NFTs are not accepted.

Submission & Shipping

Provide up to four works; no need to post content unless sold.
Provide a flat rate shipping cost upfront, which you will be reimbursed for.

Key Dates

Final date to receive applications:
Sunday 26 July 2026
Notification of participation: no later than 2 August 2026
Virtual curator’s tour: 7 September, 6.30 pm

Terms & Conditions

Non-refundable participation fee of £5.00 per artist payable on selection.

Commission of 20% of the retail price on all sales; payment within 14 working days of confirmation of delivery.

Works are exclusive to Bob Cat Gallery during the virtual show (1 - 30 September 2026). Remove any other online listings during this period.

Artist is responsible for arranging transport to the buyer and covering packing, shipping, insurance, and risk of loss or damage. Provide standard worldwide postage cost upfront for reimbursement.
