Freelance Associate Creative Director / Senior Art Director.

Hybrid, 3 days in-house per week (non-negotiable). Client:
Agency.

Contract:

Inside IR35 (must use an approved Umbrella, not Limited Company or Sole Trader). Rate: £560/day.

The work is on combustible tobacco. Cigarettes. For some creatives that is a hard no, and we would rather you closed the tab now than found out in week two. If you are comfortable with it, keep reading, because the rest of this is a good job.

• You own the idea and the craft. Concept through to execution across digital, print, social, retail and experiential. Proper integrated work, not one channel dressed up as five.
• Hands-on art direction throughout. You present your own thinking to senior clients and you stand behind it. You will sit alongside Strategy, Experience Design, Copywriting, Production and Client Services, and they will expect you to have an opinion.

• A pure agency background and a portfolio of integrated brand campaigns with real ideas behind them, not just handsome layouts. Strong visual storytelling, branding and art direction.
• Work that has run across more than one channel. Broadcast and OOH in your book is a plus. So is brand systems, experience design and digital craft. We care more about how you think than which channel you grew up in.
• Adobe Creative Suite expert. Working knowledge of Figma. Motion, 3D or AI-assisted creative workflows are a bonus, not a requirement.

3 days a week in-house in Farringdon, 2 from home. Full-time, 5 days a week. £560 a day, inside IR35, paid through an approved umbrella company. No Limited Company. No Sole Trader. Start Wednesday 22 July, running until September with a strong chance of extension.
