At WPP Production, this role exists because clients now expect a single shoot to produce content for every major platform, not just one polished video and each platform (Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, X) has different rules for what performs. There is an increasing demand for offline editors to deliver value by turning raw footage into platform-ready content at the volume clients demand, applying the pacing, hooks,and formatting each platform rewards, repurposing long-form assets into multiple short-form deliverablescost-effectively, and keeping every client's brand consistent as content scales across accounts and channels.

• Edit raw footage into polished, platform-optimized videos for Reels, Shorts, Tik Toks, You Tube videos,and other social formats.
• Structure story flow, pacing, and hooks to maximize watch-time and retention within the first 3 seconds.
• Add captions/subtitles, on-screen text, lower-thirds, and motion graphics as per brand guidelines.
• Ensure all edits meet platform-specific specs (aspect ratio, resolution, duration, safe zones, file format)
• Incorporate feedback quickly and manage multiple revisions under tight deadlines.
• Stay updated on platform trends, algorithm changes, and content formats.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (primary); working knowledge of Adobe After Effects , or Cap Cut

• Strong grasp of motion graphics and typography for social-first storytelling.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator for thumbnail creation and graphic overlays.
• Understanding of codecs, frame rates, aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9), and export settings foreach platform.
• Knowledge of colour correction/grading basics.
• Comfortable with audio editing (noise reduction, levelling, syncing) using tools like Audition or Premiere's audio panel.
• Creative eye for trends, memes, transitions, and platform-native aesthetics (Tik Tok-style vspolished You Tube vs. professional Linked In).
