• Originate and write content across Stylist’s website, paywall, and print platforms
• Generate unique, exciting, and exclusive news and feature ideas from pitch through publication
• Apply thorough SEO knowledge to digital content and monitor performance to maximize reach
• Monitor work after publication and strive to meet personal and website-wide KPI targets
• Maintain understanding of Stylist readers’ and advertisers’ tastes and interests
• Use forward-planning tools to identify upcoming events and plan original, seasonal, and trend-led features
• Monitor social media to understand changing audience needs
• Maintain relationships with contacts, experts, and PRs and attend events to secure exclusive opportunities
• Represent the Stylist brand at events or in the media when needed
• Ensure written content and features meet Stylist brand guidelines
• Take on new or additional tasks and projects aligned with team goals and business needs

• Strong writing skills with proven ability to write news and long-form features
• Strong digital publishing skills, including SEO, CMS, and social media content creation
• Keen understanding of Stylist’s tone, audience, and editorial values
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Confidence using data to inform content strategy and performance
• Proactive, ideas-driven mindset with passion for storytelling that informs, inspires, and empowers
• Proven experience as a journalist or writer, ideally focused on lifestyle or women’s media
• Demonstrable ability to file clear copy with minimal supervision or oversight
• Comfortable creating multimedia content, including video and appearing on camera when needed
• Exposure to a CMS such as Word Press or similar; training is provided
